There was a cute ending to La ci darem la mano, where Maule broke up the hanky-panky between Giovanni (Braun) and Zerlina (Bayrakdarian) with a forcefully played cadence.

The entire aria was a tour de force that received a rousing response from the audience. Родилась в Захле (Ливан) в 1974 году в армянской семье, позже переехавшей в Торонто (Канада).
Изабель с раннего детства пела в армянском церковном хоре в Ливане. Переехала в Канаду в подростковом возрасте. И после переезда с родителями в Канаду продолжила выступать в армянском церковном хоре Торонто.
Окончила в 1997 году из Университет Торонто с отличием.
Незадолго до окончания учебы ее исполнение услышали руководители чикагской «Lyric Opera» на фестивале Равинии, и в результате она получила приглашение на участие в опере "A View From the Bridge" Вильяма Болкома.
Изабель Байракдарян является обладательницей многих престижных наград, в том числе первой премии конкурса вокалистов Плачидо Доминго, золотой медали королевы Елизаветы Второй, а ее компакт-диск признан лучшим в Канаде.
Певица является солисткой нью-йоркской "Метрополитен-опера", сотрудничает с ведущими филармоническими оркестрами мира.
Ее прекрасное сопрано звучит в таких известных фильмах, как «Властелин колец» и «Арарат».
В январе 2009 Изабель Байракдарян номинирована на премию Грэмми в категории «Лучшее вокальное исполнение» (Best Classical Vocal Performance). Певица исполнила песни армянского композитора Комитаса, в сопровождении Филармонического оркестра Армении под руководством дирижера Эдуарда Топчяна.
