CLI is non-governmental profit free organization registered in September of 1999 by the decision of Ministry of Justice of RA.

Mission, main goals and objectives:

To ensure the information flow for lawyers, students and citizens in the state governance sphere; To facilitate the creation and strengthening of legal field; To facilitate the modernization of state governance system and to participate in development of standard acts of the law; To facilitate further development and strengthening of legal field, to use Internet opportunities for legal knowledge dissemination; To facilitate the strengthening of human rights and freedoms protection guarantees; To assist the legal improvements in Armenia; To implement computer based methods in jurisprudence teaching in educational institutions and new information technologies in legal field.

International Cooperation, CLI cooperation: Chemonics International; NGO Strengthening Project, (USAD, world-wide education).

With international organizations: Institute for Democracy and Human Rights; Civil Society Development Union; Judges Union of RA; Union of lawyers and political scientists; International Center of Human Development; Union of Armenian State Employees; Against Legal Abuse.

Non-governmental organizations: Management School of RA; American University of Armenia; Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University; French University in Armenia; As well as with other organizations and academies.

Organization's Structure and Government:

The supreme body of the center is members meeting of the center, i.e. General Meting. The supreme body of governance is the Board, which has Chairman of the Board. The executive body of the center consists of 3-5 members and Executive Director. Auditing body consists of 3 members and the Head of Auditing body.
