Mr. Avaness has worked closely with Emy Hovanesyan and Anghela Zograbyan on creative aspects of the script and created a viable business and financing plan for the investors of 'The Journey', and he is co-founder of J F Productions, LLC.

In 2000, Mr. Avaness completed production of the feature film 'My Dark Days', in which he Co-Produced. He also served as Producer and Director of Photography on such short films: 'Absinthe', 'Between Heaven and Earth', 'Blister', and 'Golden Rose'. He is the author of Legal Tender, a feature length script. Edwin's body of works as a writer, director, producer, cinematographer and editor includes 'Frenzied', 'Morning Execution', and 'Deceptive Dream'. In addition to the above credits, Edwin has been the Director of Photography on other short films such as 'Sleights', 'Job's Circus', and' Point of Entry'.

Edwin received his Master of Arts Degree from Northwestern University's Radio-TV-Film Programs and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in film production at University of California, Santa Cruz.
