GETIK BAGDASARYAN
Born in 1949 Yerevan. In 1974 graduated from the Artistic-theatrical Institute of Yerevan,the department of sculpture. Since 1977 he systematically took part in republican, all-Union and international exhibitions.During the famous symposiums in the town Ijevan he created three monumental works,of them "The Gates of Zangezoor" and "The Rider".In 1984 he was awarded with the second prize of the USSR-Czechoslovakia international exhibition,in 1985 he received the medal for the best work of the Painters' Union of Armenia.His sculptures are exhibited in the State Gallery of Armenia(in Yerevan),in Tretyakov Museum (in Moscow),in Ivanovo and some other cities.
