Ayrudzy riding club was founded in 1980, aiming the spread old Armenian traditional culture, songs and dances, riding games. During its history, Ayrudzy has participated in national holidays, different events, such as Erebuni-Yerevan, Navasard, Harvest Fest and others, organized in the country.
During the 20-year practice Ayrudzy had organized many riding marches to the historic-cultural places of Armenia, got a rich and unique experience in the sphere of organization of the long marches. Ayrudzy is already 20 years old. It is registered as a non-governmental organization. Now Ayrudzy has its own Center- the place of inhabitance, situated 13 km far from Yerevan, in the region of Ashtarak, near the new constructed bridge. It also has 17 thoroughbred horses (of English, Arabian and Tracken tribes), all necessities for maintenance and training, race-arena and equipment. The Center also has small comfortable cottages fir the guests' night lodging, bar-restaurant and garden. The complex is located on the picturesque ravine side of Qasakh River.
Projects
The hard and proper trainings gave the wished results: The sportsmen of Ayrudzy Riding Club have been winning the 2-nd and 3-rd Prizes of the Youth Championship of the Republic of Armenia.
Ayrudzy Riding Club had also participation in the Cap of Caucasus Championship in 2000. These successes suggest hope that many of the Armenian team of horse-racing will be from Ayrudzy Riding Club.
Currently, Ayrudzy Riding Club is the only complex, that has equipment and experience of hypnotherapy (treatment by horse-training). The hypnotherapy is known in the world as most effective tool in the medical treatment and only developed countries have got such centers.
