The Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA) was established on 25 September, 1995, by commercial banks in the Republic of Armenia.

The main tasks of the UBA are as follows: to protect the interests of the UBA member banks and to present these interests to the governmental bodies, as well as local authorities, public and international organizations; to promote the development of interbank relations; to coordinate the activities of UBA members to design and implement long term joint programs; to participate in the development of regulations on the banking, financial and credit activities and their expertise.

The Supreme body of UBA is the Conference, the management bodies are the Board and UBA Chairman.

UBA organizational structure is: Board, Chairman and Deputy Chairman. Number of stuff: 10.

The UBA is the founder of UBA "Methodological Center" CJSC, "UBA Permanent Mediate Court" and the co-founder of the "Financial College" together with the Central Bank and Ministry of Education of the Republic of Armenia.
