Michael Tolajian


Michael Tolajian is an Emmy Award winning filmmaker who has worked for over ten years in the film and television industry. He earned his BA at Cornell, and his MFA at USC’s School of Cinema-Television in 1997. His thesis film, There Goes the Neighborhood, was screened at over 15 film festivals worldwide including the New York Short Film EXPO, the Boston Film Festival and the Austin Film Festival. Before attending film school, Michael worked for four years in the sports television industry producing, directing and editing over 100 profiles and features on professional and amateur athletes. He recently formed his own production company, BonaFide Films, for which he produces, directs, writes and edits projects for film, television and the internet. Projects include TNT Original Pictures, NBC Sports Halftime Features, ESPN and FOX Sports specials and documentaries, and network television commercials. He won an Emmy Award as a producer/editor/cinematographer for Whatever Happened to Michael Ray? which was voted Outstanding Sports Documentary of 2000.
