The gold commemorative coin with nominal value of 10000 drams issued by the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia is dedicated to the 125-th anniversary of Martiros Sarian. Martiros Sarian, one of the major cultural figures of 20th century, is the founder of national contemporary visual art school. His powerful and unique individuality had revealed itself by the time he was young graduate of the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
