History

Established: 1963 Consecrated: 1965 for the first site, Februar

Sanctuary: The parish owns its permanent sanctuary, which is not its original one. The original church building was at a property now used by another church on Bering Drive. The parish purchased a rectory near the church in 1982. Major benefactors include Mr. and Mrs. Sam and Lena Harrison, after whose father the church is named.

Important Events: The church had its first Armenian Festival in 1977. Archbishop Torkom Manoogian, then-Primate, dedicated Hekimian Hall in 1983. The parish hosted the Annual Assembly of the Association of the Armenian Church Choirs in 1985; the ACYOA National Assembly and Sports Weekend in 1989; and the Diocesan Assembly in 1994.
