History:

The small number of the Armenian community has remained rather unchanged since the 1960’s. In January 1978 Bishop Aris Shirvanian, Vicar General established the parish of St. Mesrob and arranged the rental of St. Mark’s Anglican Church where services have been held fairly regularly by clergy visiting from Montreal The church has also become the community center for social functions as well.
