The goals and objectives of ADRA Armenia are as follows: to plan and implement projects in order to provide humanitarian assistance to vulnerable and needy persons in Armenia, to involve these persons in entrepreneurial activities and to create for them sustainable sources of income, thus ensuring community development and facilitating their integration with the population; in collaboration with individuals or organizations provide services and assistance to meet the physical, social, health and educational needs of those people who have desire to address their needs in above mentioned areas related to or arising out of poverty and disasters, natural or man-made, and the incidents and consequences thereof according to the rules defined by the law. These services and assistance will be provided only on the basis of need (to vulnerable physical and juridical persons), not creed, race or ethnic nationality; to provide grants to individuals and public not-for-profit organizations to render services or provide assistance in the above mentioned areas; to organize seminars, lectures, exhibitions, practical classes, competitions and other activities not prohibited by the legislation of Republic of Armenia given the goals and objectives of this constitution; to invite foreign specialists in order to more efficiently fulfill its goals and objectives, to exchange experience, to provide assistance and to share lessons learned.

Current activities

Network for Health project, RH/FP/HIV/AIDS/CS related project funded by USAID.

Health Information Center in Malatia Hospital funded under Network for Health project. Yerevan Soup kitchen project funded by private donors.

Major Projects Completed projects: 1. Food Security Greenhouse Project, funded by USAID, UNHCR, ADRA International and Dutch government distribution of family-size greenhouses, seeds, tools and fertilizer to refugee families. 2. Clothing distribution projects (multiple) distribution of used clothes to needy layers of population. 3. Drinking water project - installation of water piping in Nerkin Hand village. 4. Polyclinic renovation in Massis region -renovation of 7 clinics. 5. Medical Information Center -Provision of free translations, English language and computer courses for medical personnel, as well as searching for information and creation of small library for the same group. 6. First Aid skills for Children - teaching First Aid skills to kindergarten and school children.
