Биография

Среднее образование получила на родине, в Тегеране (Иран).

Окончила Тегеранский ун-т. Ученые степени магистра и доктора наук получила в Калифорнийском ун-те (University of Laverne, and Glendale College), специализируясь в области армянского языка и литературы.

Является преподавателем армянского языка и литературы на фак-те восточных языков того же ун-та.

Автор ряда научных работ, посвященных преимущественно истории арм. зарубежной лит-ры, в частности отображению геноцида армян в лит-ре 1920-1930-х и последующих годов.

Имеет также работы по истории Армянского вопроса и геноцида армян, опубликованные в армянской печати и научных сб-ках (на англ. яз.), США, Канады и др. стран.

Принимала участие в ряде международных научных конференции, посвященных геноциду армян Лос-Анджелес (1986, 1988), Торонто (1989), Ереван (1990).

Являясь членом Центральной комиссии Армянского национального комитета Западной Америки, ведет большую работу по ознакомлению общественности с историей Армянского вопроса.

Сочинения

Редактор и составитель учебника «Армянский вопрос» (1990, на арм. яз.) для учащихся армянских школ США.
