Барбара Жаклин Саакян Профессор клинической нейропсихологии на кафедре психиатрии института Кембриджского университета.

Имеет высокую международную репутацию. В знак признания ее достижений в области когнитивной неврологии в 2004 году была избрана действительным членом Академии медицинских наук Великобритании.

Профессор Саакян является сотрудником Колледжа Христа в Кембридже. Ее избрали президентом Британской ассоциации психофармакологии.

Является крупным специалистом в исследовании болезни Альцгеймера.
