In 1913 French Armenian Women union was established, which had several branches for aid to orphans, students and Armenia.
At the beginning the union had also the separate branch for emigrants. Armenian non-governmental, charity, cultural, youth and other organizations, which had been establishing upon formation of Armenian community of France aimed at keeping the national identity.
