Mirzoyan Tereza Honored Artist of Armenia Prominent Art Figure of Armenia Professor,Yerevan, Academy of Fine Arts Member of Artists Union

Biography:


She was born on August 11, 1922 In Armenia 1940-1946 Tbilisi Academy of Fine Arts 1946-1947 Professional training at Mukhina's studio ,Moscow Since 1947 Lecturer at Yerevan Institute of Fine and Performing Arts 1947-1968 Lecturer at Art College after A.Terlemezian Since 1950 Member of Artists' Union of Armenia 1967 Honoured Artist of Armenia 1975-1999 Head of sculpture chair at Yerevan of Fine and Performing Arts 1987 Professor at Yerevan Institute of Fine and Performing Arts

Since then:

- Participated in numerous exhibitions organized by Artists Union of Armenia and Soviet Union. Her sculptures embellish towns, museums, and privet collections in Armenia and outside the country.


Exhibits:

In the beginning of 21st century:

- Her sculptures receive Awards during exhibition dedicated to 1700th anniversary of Proclamation of Christianity in Armenia, 2001

- Solo Exhibition in Los Angeles, California 2002

- Completes the bas-relief of Saint Peter in Saint Grikor the Enlightener, Mother Cathedral Yerevan, Armenia 2003

- Solo exhibition in Yerevan, Armenia 2003

- Exhibition "Return of Angeles", Los Angeles, California 2004 - Exhibition "Tereza Mirzoyan and her Students", Yerevan, Armenia 2004

- Award "Teacher of the Year", Yerevan , Armenia 2005

- Continues academic activities and creative works.
