The first sanctuary was a former Methodist church on Barnum Avenue in Bridgeport, CT, bought in 1931. In 1978 the church bought its building on Huntington Avenue in Trumbull, CT, from the Berean Baptist Church. Major benefactors include Jack Tatigian, Haroutune and Vehanoush Chouljian, and Dr. and Mrs. Harry Agahigian.
Important Events: On June 3, 1990, Bishop Aris Shirvanian of San Francisco consecrated ten religious paintings at the church and opened the Agahigian-Sherinian Hall. On June 5, 1994, Archbishop Khajag Barsamian, Primate of the Diocese, blessed a new khachkar monument erected at the church in memory of the martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.}}
