The Center for Regional Development was founded in July 2000 and registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia as a non-governmental organization in August 2000. Since November 2000, CRD has been officially recognized as the Transparency International contact/partner organization in Armenia. In May 2001, CRD received the status of TI National Chapter in Formation.
