Работал в компании "Проктер энд Гэмбл" в Женеве, Швейцария с 1978 по 1982 год. В течение 10 лет работал как неправительственный делегат по правам человека в Организации Объединенных Наций в Женеве, играя ключевую роль в признании ООН геноцида армян в 1985 году.
Основатель и президент Объединенного армянского фонда (УАФ), коалиции семи крупнейших армяно-американских благотворительных и религиозных организаций.
Как заместитель председателя [[фонда "Линси"]], он курировал реализацию инфраструктурных проектов в Армении на сумму $150 млн.
Имеет степень магистра в области международных отношений в Колумбийском университете и степень магистра делового администрирования университета Pepperdine.
Он был награжден медалью "Анания Ширакаци" и получил множество других наград за его руководство общественной деятельностью.
