history

The “Helsinki Citizens` Assembly (HCA) - Vanadzor office” was founded on 21 March, 1998, as a branch of the Armenian Committee of the Helsinki Citizens` Assembly, within the program “Creation of Local Network of Helsinki Citizens` Assembly in the regions of the Republic of Armenia” (financed by the democratic programs of TACIS). HCA - Vanadzor office was registered as an independent non-governmental organization in the Ministry of Justice on April 9, 2001.
