{{На английском|The Melkonian Educational Institute (MEI) is a 75-year-old secondary, coeducational, boarding a day school that prepares students foe higher education in a safe and supportive environment. The school facilities, which include a rich library, a modern computer multimedia lab, science e labs, a language lab and multipurpose sports facilities and designed to satisfy the specifications expected from a modern educational establishment. The boarding facilities are open for children of Armenian descent and residents of Cyprus.
The Melkonian School adopts a comprehensive curriculum.
The language of instruction is English, Armenian language, literature and history, which construes an essential part of its academic program, are taught in Armenia
The School's diploma, coupled with the different certificates received from international examination boards enable the graduates to be admitted to the best universities worldwide: (Cyprus, USA, Europe, Armenia, Lebanon, Greece, etc.)
Starting form 1924 the Melkonian Education Center has been operating (it was established by the money inherited by Grigor and Karapet Melkonians). Melkonian School used to publish the "Aig" yearly book during 1937-1979, and now it publishes "Tsolk" periodical. It also has a choir. Hakob Oshakan, Vahan Tekeyan, Barsegh Kanachian taught in the School.}}
