Richard V. Aghababian, MD, FACEP
Professor and Chairman, Department of Emergency Medicine Associate Dean for Continuing Medical Education
Dr. Aghababian is the Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine and Associate Dean for Continuing Medical Education at UMMC. He trained in Emergency Medicine at the University of California in San Francisco, CA and in Internal Medicine at the Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA. Dr Aghababian continues to pursue a long-term interest in Disaster Medicine, the management of patients with acute cardiovascular diseases and Emergency Department treatment of patients with infectious diseases.
