профессорBorn in 1938 in OdessaВ 1956-1961гг. Вадим Мовсесович Адамян проходил обучение в Одесском Государственном университете. Однако в аспирантуру поступил в строительный институт, в 1961-1964гг. проходил обучение в аспирантуре Одесского строительного института.
Graduated University of Odessa city in 1961После аспирантуры работал в Институте Физики ОГУ, а затем вернулся на свою кафедру. В 1964-1966гг. работал старшим научным сотрудником в Одесском Технологичском институте имени Ломоносова.
Since 1979 worked as the Chief of Theoretical Physics Department of Odessa University20 июня 1966г. защищает кандидатскую диссертацию в Институте Математики и Механики при [[Ереванском Университете]] по специальности функциональный анализ и теория функций. После защиты некоторое время преподавал на кафедре математики в Одесском строительном институте. В период с 1967-1975гг. возглавляет лабораторию при Институте Физики ОГУ.
Curriculum VitaeAdamyan Vadym M17 октября 1974г.защищает докторскую диссертацию в Киевском Институте Математики при Академии Наук УССР по специальности функциональный анализ и теория функций. В 1975г. возвращается на родную кафедру, где получает сначала должность доцента, а затем в 1977г. профессора. С 1978 г., проф. Адамян возглавляет руководство кафедрой, поддерживая традиционную тематику кафедры, но и стимулируя развитие новых направлений, таких как физика плазмы, физика твердого тела, а в последние годы – физика наноструктур.
