Ellada Chakhoyan is the top-prize winner soprano of the "Maria Callas International Competition" in Athens and other voice competitions in Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and MoldaviaВ 1972 окончила [[Ереванскую консерваторию]] (кл. Her education at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas was followed by training at the La Scala in Milan where she received a special prize and medal from both Italy's Department of Culture and the Conservatory of Giuseppe Verdi for her "Excellence in Italian grand opera interpretation[[Г."
