Armenian composer of mostly chamber and electroacoustic works that have been performed in Europe. Mr. Abrahamyan studied composition with Vardan Ajemyan and piano with Elsa Tandilyan at the Sayat-Nova School of Music in Yerevan from 1990-98 and composition with Vardan Ajemyan at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory from 1998-2002. He has studied composition and electroacoustic music at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève since 2002, on a scholarship. His honors include First Prize in the Izabel competition in Yerevan (1998, for Sonata). His music has been performed in Armenia, Kosova and Switzerland.
