Alexander Sadoyan was born in 1954 Yerevan, Armenia. In 1975 he graduated from Terlemezian Art College of Fine Arts. Sadoyan participated in more than 50 exhibitions and his works were sold in numerous auctions. Today, his works can be found in private collections throughout USA, France, Germany, Canada, Russia, Switzerland, China, Norway and Lebanon. Since 1990 he is a member of the Artist's Union of the Republic of Armenia. In 1995 he was accepted as a member of the International Association of Arts at UNESCO. Since 1996 Alexander resides in Los Angeles, California. I paint forms and shapes to convey energy and spiritual condition. The colors and rhythms become the theme. The images are put together in a dreamlike sequence to reinforce the realty of metaphysical world. Forces of nature and mysterious inner life of mankind are themes that have been constant in my work. My paintings are inspired from the human life in conjunction with landscape of nature's abstract color-forms. Sadoyan comes from the land of the Great Kingdoms ofUrartu and Cilicia. He was born in 1954 in Yerevan, Armenia. In 1975, he graduated from Terlemezian Art College of Fine Arts and joined the Artist's Union of the Republic of Armenia and the International Association of Arts of the United Nations/ UNESCO. Currently, he resides in Los Angeles, California, USA.

A festival of vibrant and rich colors metamorphosing in eloquent lines, curves, free-spirited compositions and un-chartered visionary landscape flashes before your eyes. It is a pure delight to look at Sadoyan paintings. His art moves constantly on the canvases, from one composition to another.For instance, before "INTERIOR", we feel at ease in exploring the frontiers of shapes and forms.
Looking at "INSPIRE", our feelings change, for we are no longer perceiving eloquent geometrical patterns, but, we are cruising a multi-leveled landscape of flashes of lights, free movements and appealing melodious rhythm toward undecided destinations where you expectations became insignificant or irrelevant, because you become centered with a perfect blend or dissolution of one thousand different strokes movements that give birth to a colorful multitude of shapes, figures, forms, circular, square, rectangular, oval and juxtaposed lines and statements. Who knows and who cares! He does it brilliantly. Does he expect to see on his canvases what he previously imagined in his mind? Who knows? But, one thing is sure, this artist thinks with feelings and he feels with thoughts and artistic meta-logic.
Who, what inspires him? I do not know. Inspirations and illuminations change in our life. Sometime, they are the product of our needs, anxiety, fear or joy. Sometime, they escape us, and we run crazy after them, searching for an explanation, a message, or perhaps we chase them to entertain ourselves. When a painting begin to entertain you and through "herself" at you, take "her" in your arm, embrace her and comfort her, for she is opening up to you and she is whispering something…something very secretive…and just for your eyes only. Some of Sadoyan's paintings are asking for your company. They are full of life and warmth. Some are dressed up with a robe of wild gardens, others are timid, sweet and human. Nude
I like the work of Sadoyan…some of his paintings just began to talk to me…to come closer and I hope that one them will come closer and closer to reveal what there is in the heart of Sadoyan who captured "her" between his brushes and the linens…

Alexander Sadoyan
Alexander Sadoyan was born in 1954 in Yerevan, Armenia. His passion for painting came at an early age. In 1975, he graduated from Art College of Fine Arts. Sadoyan participated in more than fifty exhibitions and his works were sold in numerous auctions.
Today, his works can be found in private collections throughout U.S.A., France, Canada, Russia, Germany, England, Italy, Switzerland, China, Norway, Spain, and Lebanon. Since 1990, he has been a member of the Artist's Union of the Republic of Armenia. In 1995, he was accepted as a member of the International Association of Arts at UNESCO. His name was also included in the International Encyclopedic Dictionary of Modern and Contemporary Art published in Italy.
Since 1996, Alexander resides in Glendale, California. He continues to create vigorously and actively displays his paintings at personal and group exhibitions.
