Zaven Messerlian
Graduate of American University of Beirut, Zaven Messerlian (BA '59, MA '63), historian, author, and principal of the Armenian Evangelical College, received an honorary doctorate from the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia in Yerevan on July 30, 2003 for his contributions to the field of modern Armenian history and education.
