But in 1946 a group of western Armenians were settled in this place. And in 1949 they founded this wonderful school. The first lessons were held in the houses of the settled Armenians. Only a little later the building was built. In 1988 school was passed to the thoughtful principal Armen Sahakyan, whose first steps were to invite best teachers to work at school, to create a peaceful staff. Here everybody respects the others and is respected. Our school is specialized in English.Since 1946 school has given alumni of 4000 students. Right now school has 1216 students, and a staff of 85 teachers.The school has 16 teachers of Armenian language and Literature, 19 teachers of Russian language and Literature, 23 teachers of English, 2 teachers of Chemistry, 11 teachers of Maths, 2 teachers of Physics.One of the main goals of our school is to build a near-by building which will include a big auditorium, a big gym, and more classrooms.The school is looking forward to somebody who will help to build the near-by building , as it doesn't have any financial source to build it without any help.This is the only problem which prevents our school from being one of the best ones.
