St. Gevorg Church was built in the 17th century and restored in 1981-1984 under the auspices of the Holy See of Etchmiadzin. It is one of 10 churches in ancient Noragavit, which is preserved nowadays. The church is similar to St. Zoravor Church in its plan and common volume-spatial composition.
