Биография

Аналитик-вундеркинд Ян уже в 11 лет учился в старших классах, а в 15 получил стипендию университета Тулейна.

Закончил Университет Тулейн и Стэнфордский университет. В 24 года он защитил кандидатскую степень в Стэнфорде, а его книга о советских республиках, написанная двумя годами ранее, к этому времени уже стала стандартным учебником. В 25 Бреммер стал самым молодым научным сотрудником Института Гувера.

В феврале 2003 года администрация Буша пригласила именно Яна Бреммера выступить с докладом об американской нефтяной стратегии в отношении России.

Способность делать своевременные и правильные прогнозы позволила бывшему ученому-вундеркинду создать процветающую компанию, консультирующую глав компаний и топ-менеджеров хеджинговых фондов относительно финансовых последствий тех или иных политических перемен.

Под началом Бреммера трудятся 40 аналитиков и менеджеров по продажам в Нью-Йорке и 480 штатных и внештатных исследователей в 65 странах. У него около 140 клиентов, включая ExxonMobil, Morgan Stanley и хеджинговый фонд Caxton. Годовые доходы его компании исчисляются восьмизначными числами.

Президент группы «Евразия», старший научный сотрудник Института мировой политики. Является доктором политических наук Стэнфордского университета, также преподает в таких научных заведениях как Институт Гарримана, Институт Гувера и других.

Я.Бреммер - признанный на Западе эксперт в области американской внешней политики, развития евразийских государств и глобальных политических рисков. Большинство работ этого специалиста посвящены политическим и экономическим реформам развивающихся или переживающих переломный период в своем развитии государств.
